Unfortunately this property is not suitable for children.  Please note that while the owners welcome cyclists they do not allow bicycles to be taken into the apartment and there is no outside secure storage facility available. Bicycles can be left in the courtyard.

Fakenham is one of Norfolk's traditional country towns with a selection of shops, pubs and places to eat along with several supermarkets. It has hosted a weekly market since 1250 and, together with the auction provides a good opportunity to hunt out bargains. There is also a monthly farmers market in the square and craft market in the church. The town has a cinema and a ten-pin bowling alley as well as a National Hunt racecourse and a golf course. Fakenham is an ideal central base from which to discover the delights of the North Norfolk coast and to visit all the major attractions of north Norfolk, the town is ten miles from the sandy beaches at Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea. Local attractions include the Hawk and Owl Trust at Sculthorpe and Pensthorpe Nature Park featured in BBC Springwatch.
