This character, three-storey, terraced property is situated in the heart of the seaside town of Cromer, and just a minutes’ walk away from the seafront promenade, pier and beach. The property is comfortably furnished and well-equipped, boasting a cosy wood burner in the living room. The property has been refurbished to offer everyday day living comforts, yet retains its original character and charm. Cromer town centre has a wealth of shops, cafés, restaurants, the Amazona Zoo, Royal National Lifeboat Institution Museum, an 18-hole golf course and pier. The neighbouring coastal town of Sheringham is only 4 miles away and offers a beach, Splash Leisure Pool, The Poppy Line steam railway, cliff top golf course, shops, cafes and restaurants. Blakeney Quay is 13 miles away, whilst Holkham Hall and beach is 23 miles away. The property is within an easy drive of the rspb Bird and Nature Reserves at Cley, Morston and Blakeney. There are coastal paths and country lanes close by providing excellent walking and cycling opportunities. Beach 10 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 10 yards.

There's not much to say because everyone else has hit the nail on the head,if your looking for a great place to stay i wouldn't waste your money going elsewhere,please don't book it in November as that's when we're going back😁

For the last ten years myself and family have been visiting cromer and have stayed in many properties in the lovely town of cromer. Melrose is a property we have walked pass so many times over the years and we have always said to ourselves wonder what it’s like inside. Finally we decided to give it a go and we booked it for 1 week from Friday 31 October to Friday 7th November 2025. I would highly recommend Melrose as it is such a clean cosy well located cottage in the lovely town of cromer. We was very surprised how clean and comfortable the cottage was and the owner so so very helpful . Bedrooms are good size comfortable rooms and bathroom very clean and tidy . Perfect cottage, perfect location, perfectly clean and thanks to Nicola & paul for the lovely welcome pack. We will be back to stay at Melrose One hundred per cent . I highly recommend Melrose cottage for a perfect place to stay in cromer.
