This tucked-away rustic and rather quirky dog-friendly hideaway sits in a very quiet location only a few minutes’ walk to all the eateries, cafes and shops that make Thornham so desirable for a short break or longer stay.

Set over three floors, this stylish end-of-terrace barn sleeps six very comfortably and is well-located in the pretty village of Thornham with is harbour, beach and coastal and countryside walks. A clever conversion of an old barn, the property still retains its original character with exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and now boasts three beautifully-furnished bedrooms and bathrooms. The decor is rustic and quirky throughout with the owner making use of old scaffolding boards, earthy colours and bright pops of colour to make the open plan kitchen/dining/living area the perfect place to retreat to after a busy day exploring. The second floor master bedroom suite is stunning; with a four-poster bed positioned under a vaulted ceiling with four skylights making it perfect for stargazing whilst laying in bed. There is a further king-size bedroom and double bedroom on the first floor, again all with rustic floors and bags of room and all bathrooms feature stylish basins, showers and two have free-standing baths, providing the opportunity for a good wallow at the end of a long day.

Outside you’ll find a table and chairs to the front of the property, perfect for morning coffee and reading the newspapers and plenty of communal space to the rear of the cottage which also provides a short-cut to the fabulous Thornham Deli, less than a minutes’ walk away, where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast. Thornham is great for exploring the whole of the coast and with an excellent array of pubs/restaurants, one of the best fish and chip shops around and a famous farm shop with pick-your-own fruit farm at Drove Orchards, you won't be short of places to eat out.

Hideaway Barn is also available as a sleeps four low occupancy with bedroom two closed off: Hideaway Barn (4).

We loved walking on the beach, Sandringham and Holkham. We had the best walked and the amusement arcade felt huge. The house was very dark but cosy. The house was perfect and at the beach I collected 122 seashells.

Really lovely property. Felt right at home and very cosy.

The barn was quirky, well equipped, warm & comfortable. Designed to sleep 6 could do with more glasses, mugs & table wear. Generally very clean but a couple of huge cobwebs that couldn’t be missed. Welcome gifts nice touch, but would be lovely to receive local products. Thornham & surrounding area delightful.
