Walkers and birdwatchers are spoilt for choice with the North Norfolk coastal path and Peddar's Way moments away, Holme Dunes Nature Reserve approximately a 45-minute walk away, and rspb Titchwell Reserve a short drive away. Access to walks across the Thornham marshes is a short walk away along The Green. Thornham also has its own beautiful, often deserted, wide sandy beach which is waiting to be discovered. The expansive beach at Brancaster with its resident seal colony is a mere 10-minute drive way. The Coasthopper bus stops in the village, making it easy to get anywhere along the coast.
