Nestled in the pretty village of Wereham with village green and duck pond, it really is a welcoming property with lots to love about its stylish interior, you are sure to fall in love with this pretty, traditional cottage. Step into the well-equipped farmhouse kitchen with dining table, great to cook in and dine at home. For those who prefer to eat out, the village pub serving good food is just 90 yards away (2 minutes’ walk). The spacious living room has comfy sofas and a wood burner, perfect to curl up alongside on cooler evenings, and there is also a downstairs modern bathroom. On the first floor you will find two lovely bedrooms and a separate toilet. To the front is an enclosed paved courtyard, offering additional off-road parking, and perfect to sit, relax and enjoy your morning coffee.
Just 20 minutes from stunning Thetford Forest with High Lodge and Go Ape, you will find yourself blessed with picturesque walks and surrounded by wildlife. In fact, there great circular walks direct from your doorstep. Within 40 minutes’ drive you will arrive to the stunning North Norfolk Coastline with its sand dunes, stunning cliff lines, sand and shingle beaches, salt and clay marshes and picturesque quays. The traditional seaside town of Hunstanton with its Sea Life Centre, and Heacham for Norfolk Lavender, both offer wide sandy beaches stretching miles and a wide range of activities for young and old alike. Seeking culture, visit the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn, the Royal Sandringham Estate and Holkham and Houghton Halls, all which host lots of great events throughout the year. Be sure to bring along your golf clubs as there are many great golf courses within the surrounding area. Foodies will enjoy the many places to eat, which will suit all tastes and pockets. Our second visit to the Old Butchers Shop. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Beautifully presented cottage, with lovely spacious lounge to relax. Super night rest in comfortable king size bed. Thoughtfully decorated to feel home from home.Plenty to see and do, from easy drive to the coast, or to visit Thetford Forest, and all the pretty villages. Wereham nice small village with pub, and pond, pleasant walk around.Having stayed at many cottages Karina is an outstanding host, easy to communicate and help in anyway she can. Highly recommend and hopefully re visit in the future.

Just spent 2 week's in the lovely Old Butcher's Shop. The owner Karina is extremely pleasant and accommodating. The holiday cottage is immaculate and in good weather the little courtyard is nice to sit out with a glass of wine or two. A really lovely place to stay and 100% recommended. Thank you Karina.

A lovely comfortable home, in a great location to explore Norfolk. Everything was spotlessly clean, and there was a lovely welcome pack which was appreciated. Its about 10 minutes from shops, but the village pub was close and very friendly. Would definitely recommend for a quiet holiday.
