Guests say

The Granary is a spacious, beautifully converted barn ideal for large groups and family celebrations. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, well-equipped kitchens, comfortable beds, and stunning countryside views. The property offers excellent privacy, thoughtful touches, and friendly, helpful hosts. While the rural location means limited WiFi and mobile signal, it provides a peaceful retreat with easy access to North Norfolk attractions. Occasional minor issues, such as firm beds or local dining, are far outweighed by the overwhelmingly positive experiences.

Multiple reviews highlight the property as spotlessly clean, with guests describing it as immaculate and well-maintained throughout their stay.

The rural setting is widely appreciated for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to North Norfolk attractions. Some mention the limited WiFi and mobile signal, but this is generally seen as a positive for a peaceful getaway.

Guests frequently mention comfortable beds, spacious living areas, and a well-designed layout suitable for large groups. One review notes the beds are on the firm side, but this did not affect sleep quality.

The property is praised for being very well equipped, with two kitchens, plentiful outdoor seating, BBQ, and thoughtful extras. Maintenance is excellent, and any minor issues (such as WiFi) are promptly addressed by the hosts.

Several guests mention thoughtful touches such as welcome cakes, cards, and flasks of hot water during a power cut. While these gestures are appreciated, please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Really enjoyed our week at the Granary, the house was amazing, everything thought about right down to a meat temperature gauge (1st time ever had one of those!) susie the owner couldn’t of been more helpful, nothing was too much of a problem. The weather was 30+ every day. Only minus was our Father’s Day meal at the Bedingfeld Arms, terrible and would really avoid if possible and within the guide it did say in walking distance which at almost 2 miles in my book isn’t walking distance but apart from that a very special find. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay as a family, celebrating my Son's 30th Birthday. There wasn't anything lacking equipment wise and it was a bonus having the gas BBQ and plentiful outdoor seating. Beds were on the firm side but did not affect our sleep.Made use of the field opposite to play games and enjoyed walking up to the swing.Saw the barn owl several times and enjoyed the honey bees and spotting the bats.Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful Family get together at the Granary Friday 27th May to Monday the 1st June. The property is good value for money. The information provided in the cottage was helpful for the visits to Oxburgh hall,Thetford forest and Sandringham house and gardens. All a short drive from the Granary. Susie communicated effectively and was helpful.
