About this property

Set back on a peaceful lane at the edge of the quintessential Norfolk village of Stanhoe, visually impressive 5 Ivy Farm Barns is a mere five-minute drive from the popular Georgian village of Burnham Market. Beautifully curated over three floors, this hideaway boasts magnificent bespoke design features and outstanding comfort.

Entered via a grand entrance hall, the ground floor combines characterful exposed brick walls with exposed beams. Floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to flood in to the sitting area with sumptuous sofas and wood burning stove. The limestone floored, hand-finished bespoke kitchen with granite worktops hosts a grand central island and Range cooker - the perfect stage for rustling up a delicious feast made using the array of fresh, local produce that the area is famed for. With seating available for eight guests to gather around an ample table, the dining area makes a great social space. A convenient utility room completes this floor.

The first of two bedrooms are located upstairs on the first floor. The grandiose master suite hosts a super-king four pillar bed set to a backdrop of charming coastal accents, and is served by an en-suite shower room. Bright and bold bedroom four provides attractive wrought iron twin beds, and is served by a stylish en-suite bathroom. Panoramic windows look out onto the resplendent vaulted design feature of this property. The second floor hosts bedroom one and bedroom three. Glorious beamed vaulted ceilings house the super-king wrought iron bed of bedroom one, and the wrought-iron double bed provided in bedroom three. Both of these bedrooms boast en-suite bathrooms with baths featuring shower attachments.

Outside, to the rear of the property is a courtyard garden circumvented by traditional willow fencing. Comfortable wooden garden furniture provides seating for eight guests, with an accompanying Weber charcoal barbecue.

A large duck pond, children’s playground, and the wonderful Duck Inn are all within walking distance of the 5 Ivy Farm Barns. The Georgian village of Burnham Market is home to independent boutiques, cafes, delis, a wine merchant, and the acclaimed Hoste Arms. The beautiful North Norfolk coast and magnificent beaches are reachable via a ten-minute drive.

  • A & Family

We loved this fantastic barn conversion. There was plenty of room for the 3 generations of our family. The location was ideal for exploring the Norfolk coast, places of interest and nearby villages. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. The sitting room was cosy and the perfect place to relax on a cold winter night. Everything was fitted out to a high standard. We hope to be back!
