Well what can I say, a lovely little place, ideally situated for what we wanted. Lovely and clean with a fabulous welcome pack waiting for us and the dog. We met Lisa on the first day, who was very welcoming and helpful with places to eat and visit. Lovely walks on your doorstep to take the dog in the morning and a fantastic pub (Rose & Crown) in the village for food and drink which was very dog friendly. In all a great place to stay as a base for our days out...

Lovely accommodation and lovely host. Was a little chilly in the first few days because of a beautiful stone floor so take slippers! Otherwise it’s perfect for two.

A lovely cottage, very easy to relax in. Spacious, nicely decorated, well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. I needed the wood-burning stove, as it was the first week of December, and once starter pack finished, extra logs and kindling available at reasonable price from a nearby filling station. A lot of useful information in the binder in the kitchen, and the very nice owner popped in to say hello from her home on the other side of the courtyard. I hope to return in another season to enjoy the garden too. A great choice for a short winter break.
