Sleeping six in three bedrooms, this gorgeous retreat boasts two bathrooms and is perfect for families or couples who want to stay somewhere truly coastal. The kitchen really does have everything you need and has been equipped to a very high standard and there is also a lovely, enclosed garden to enjoy too. The addition of a multi-fuel burner in the living room makes this property the perfect choice whatever the season.
Beach lovers should head to Heacham’s wide, sandy beach and explore the rolling sand dunes. Enjoy blustery beach walks and wild swimming. Or if the sun is shining build some sandcastles, paddle or top up that tan. Heacham beach is just perfect for all of this and is considered by locals to be one of the best in the area.
Drive east from here and you will discover a treasure trove of coastal habitats from stripy cliffs to pretty little creeks and harbours, and from salt and clay marshes to picturesque quays, with boats bobbing on the tide. It is all here waiting for you to come and discover it.
Of course, the area is simply packed with historical sites too. Visit Castle Acre or Castle Rising, make time to take in the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn and head to the Houghton, Holkham and Sandringham Estates, maybe enjoying one of their many events and exhibitions. There is so much wildlife in the area too there are great rspb sites in the area including Titchwell and Snettisham Marshes, which are both within easy reach. Add in some great golf courses, wonderful walks and super cycle routes too and you’ll soon discover why so many people fall in love with this incredible area. And having worked up a great appetite you will be delighted to find that there are lots of great eating out options to suit all tastes and pockets. All in all, a fabulous choice for your break. Absolutely loved our stay at Sandpiper Cottage. It had everything you need for a relaxing time away. A perfect home from home. There was a lovely welcome hamper, for us and our two dogs, a real treat! And we were amazed at there being a bag of presents for us all, as we stayed over Christmas. We didn’t expect that! So kind! It was all beautifully decorated for Christmas which was lovely. And the decor everywhere was lovely too! Really cosy! And the log burner was perfect in the evenings, getting snug after a chilly walk on the beach. Great location, just a short walk to the beach too! Will definitely stay again. Thank you!!

Lovely cottage. Comfortable and well equipped. On the small side for maximum occupancy of 6 but well thought out and designed.Great showers and having two bathrooms was very useful.Very helpful communication and we were able to get in early which was a great help to us.We found it a little chilly coming back from a day out ( it was a week before Xmas and frosty) but it warmed up quickly. Would love to stay in summer as the garden was lovely.

A lovely cosy cottage with comfortable furniture and beds.Quality fittings, lovely bathrooms and well equipped kitchen.A good welcome pack was provided and for our visit in December the cottage was decorated for Christmas including a Christmas tree.
