Directions to the site are:
Gayton road, Pentney, King's Lynn PE32 1HU - 52°41'50.1"N 0°34'23.5"E -
Norfolk Woods is located on the A47 between Kings Lynn and Swaffham, left into B1153 to Gayton. Entrance 200 yards on left.
If you are struggling to find the park, put Norfolk Woods into Google Maps or Waze rather than using the postcode. Alternatively, if you have the What3Words app on your phone, enter the three words for Norfolk Woods which are carry.tweed.craziest.
Special notes relating to your accommodation
Arrival Information: Check-in is available from 16:00. If you are likely to arrive later than 18:00, please call our resort reception team on 01760 751 370 to let them know. Please note any guests under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Departure Information: Check out time is at 10:00am on the day of your departure. Verde Resorts kindly ask that you leave your accommodation as you found it.
Hot Tub Information: Please note due to water change and maintenance your hot tub may not be up to the correct temperature when you first arrive. By using the hot tub you are agreeing to Verde Resorts’ terms and conditions, and agreeing that you have read their hot tub safety information, found here.
Bathrobes: Bathrobes are available for £3.50 per bathrobe. Please note: Bathrobes are only available on a request basis when you arrive at the park. A £20.00 refundable security deposit will be payable to reception on arrival (cash only).
Travel cot hire: You can request a travel cot on your booking. Please note, there is no bedding provided and the mattresses are folding, thin and firm and is provided by manufacturer. We require you to follow the safety instructions, which state not to use a secondary mattress or any padded bedding such as pillows or quilts. You must bring your own bedding (e.g infant sleep bags). Please contact reception for mattress dimensions should you require. For further information on safe sleeping in travel cots please refer to information available from sites such as the Lullaby Trust. Important travel COT information Manufacturers instructions are provided at the point of issue and cots are cleaned in line with these after each use. Please also be aware that travel cots may not fit in double/master bedrooms in selected units, please call reception on 01760 751 370 for more information if a cot is needed.
Pets: Please make sure that you have included your pet in your booking. If your pet is not included, Verde Resorts will either relocate you to a pet-friendly lodge, if there is one available, or holds the right to refuse access to the resort. You may be liable for any charges incurred.
Resort Facilities: Norfolk Woods’ facilities are currently working at a reduced capacity and pre-booking for any activities, treatments or food at the restaurant is essential. Please book by calling the resort reception on 01760 751 370. The gym can be used by people over 16 years old only. You can access the gym by visiting reception, you may be asked for a fully refundable deposit.

Please note your car registration number will be requested upon arrival for Norfolk woods’ security barrier system. Group Bookings/Party Types: A security deposit may be requested on arrival. No Work vehicles or Workwear will be permitted on site. Un-authorised Work Parties will not be allowed to stay.

National Highways important road work information from Monday 3rd October 2022 to February 2023 –
Safety improvement work on the A47 between A47 Hardwick Roundabout (King’s Lynn) to Swaffham. Roadworks will take place between Monday 3rd October to February 2023 between 8PM and 6AM on weeknights only (weather permitting).
A47 Hardwick Roundabout to School Road – Late November to Mid-January 2023.
A47 School Lane to Walton Road – Early January to Mid- February 2023.
Whilst these closures are in place, eastbound traffic will be diverted onto the A10, A134 and the A1065 before re-joining the A47 at Swaffham. Westbound traffic will follow the same diversion in reverse.

B1153 Gayton Road, Pentney - Road Resurfacing-
Work is due to commence from Monday 11 September 2023 for 1 night to resurface the junction of B1156 Gayton Road, Pentney with the A47 at PE32 1HU. The work will be carried out between 7PM Monday night - 6AM Tuesday morning. In order to safely complete the improvements, Gayton Road will need to closed to through traffic at the junction with the A47 for the first 50 metres until work is complete. Please note the works will be carried out via Norfolk County Council.

This to let people know who book during that time that the pool will be closed so we will have reduced facilities.
The dates are Monday 5th January to Friday 9th January, this is to complete maintenance work. Sauna and steam room will remain open during those dates.
Please note the pool will be closed from the 05/01/26 - 09/01/26. Re-opening 10/01/26.

The entrance hall in ‘boot room’ style with seat, shelves and shoe storage is a nice touchNegativesThe bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortableThe en-suite shower temperature was either hot or cold, there was no in between The en-suite shower shelf looked nice but on close inspection there was black mould at the backThe lodge looked clean but on closer inspection looks like it needs a more thorough clean as there were marks on the back of the bathroom doors, scuff marks on the kitchen bar area, scuffs on the bed in the master bedroom and marks on the outside of the shower baseThe bathroom shower head would not stay upright and the screen would not stay in place and kept moving away from the bath, so water went over the floorThe lodges are very close together and as a result very overlooked, lots of windows but luckily blinds and curtains to give privacy. This wasn’t a problem for us mid week as it was quiet but something to bear in mind if you prefer privacy.
