About this property

King's Lynn 8.7 miles. Hidden away in the countryside of Pentney near King’s Lynn in Norfolk is Little Lodge. This wonderful, idyllic lodge benefits from an enclosed, private garden and a contemporarily decorated, open-plan living space which makes this a fabulous setting for couples or friends in the Norfolk countryside. Step through the patio doors and allow the designated chef to whip up a tasty meal in the fully-equipped kitchen, gather around the dining table to tuck in! Later, step outside to soak up the last of the sun at the furniture on the decking, or delight in a soothing soak in the blow up hot tub. When the sky darkens, head inside and sink into the plush sofas while the TV plays and the electric fire warms the rooms. Be sure to get some much-needed rest and rejuvenation in the double bedroom on the first floor, it is furnished with a beautiful four poster bed and en-suite shower room; the lodge also affords the use of a sofa bed in the living room, allowing for two more guests. Little Lodge lies paces away from the on-site club house which houses a bar and restaurant or head to the Carpenters Arms where you can treat your loved ones to a delicious meal or drinks. The lodge also lies near a lake where you can take to the water and learn to jet ski or head to the coast to enjoy Snettisham Beach and its views across the sea; no trip to the seaside would be complete without fish and chips along the promenade. Immerse yourself in local history in King’s Lynn where you can visit Lynn Museum, True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum and Red Mount Chapel or experience more vibrant nightlife at pubs such as Crown and Mitre and The White Horse. The royal Sandringham Estate can be easily accessed by car and provides 400 acres of gardens and parks that guests can traverse before experiencing the royal exhibits in its museum. Make truly unforgettable memories at Little Lodge.

The River Great Ouse flows through the historic town of King's Lynn, which dates back to the 12th century. Grand merchant houses, art galleries, museums, and Henry Bell's 1683 Custom House—all Grade I listed—make the town a history buff's dream. In addition to the town's original winding streets and alleys, which have been preserved, shoppers will find a mix of national and specialised retailers, as well as a number of pubs and restaurants. The West Norfolk coastline is only a short drive away, as is much of the surrounding Norfolk countryside, which has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For its sunsets and beaches, Hunstanton is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Norfolk. Several locations along the coast offer boat trips, and the Norfolk Coast Cycleway connects King's Lynn with Cromer. It's only a short drive away from Sandringham, the Queen's country retreat, to visit the impressive Visitor Center.

Was amazing with everything you need to make your stay perfect. Met Emma briefly, lovely to meet you...will definitely be back, looking to book in the summer, but if not will be back next winter as perfect, especially with the hot tub, was so romantic. The layout of the lodge is superb, providing the most relaxing stay, sitting in watching TV or popping across to the restaurant for eats, literally 2 min walk away. Its just perfect. Although the offsite pub is about 2.8 miles away, but a lovely romantic walk with little traffic to be seen. Thanks Emma! see you again soon. X

The property had great facilities and even in the storms we had it was still such a lovely break. The hot tub being under cover meant it could still be used in the pouring rain. The owner was lovely and on hand if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend
