Outside, the enclosed garden includes a decked dining area, a lawned space for relaxing or playing with the dogs, and the star attraction — a private hot tub where you can soak under the stars. With parking for up to four cars on the driveway, there’s ample space for families or groups travelling with multiple vehicles. The location is what truly sets this bungalow apart. Situated in the heart of Heacham, you’re just a short stroll from the West Norfolk coast. Heacham is famous for its beautiful sunsets, being one of the few places on the east coast where you can watch the sun dip into the sea.
The village boasts a range of local shops, cafes, pubs, and takeaways, as well as two gently sloping sandy beaches that are perfect for dog walks, paddling, and picnicking. Just down the road is Hunstanton, a classic British seaside resort with amusements, a funfair, SEA life sanctuary, and a wide promenade. Beyond Hunstanton lies the wild and dramatic coastline of North Norfolk, with nature reserves like rspb Titchwell Marsh, the seal colony at Blakeney Point, and miles of unspoiled beaches and salt marshes.
Keen walkers and cyclists will find plenty to explore, from coastal paths to countryside lanes. History lovers will enjoy visiting nearby Sandringham Estate — the royal family’s Norfolk retreat — just a 15-minute drive away. Burnham Market and Wells-next-the-Sea also make for charming day trips, full of boutique shops, cosy pubs, and independent eateries. Whether you’re looking for a beach holiday, a cosy winter break, or a base to explore the Norfolk countryside, this comfortable and dog-friendly bungalow in Heacham offers the perfect blend of relaxation, convenience, and coastal charm.

Lovely stay at the Lamsey Cottage. We had a very comfortable stay with a couple of niggles. The water in the shower kept going hot and cold which was an issue. The breakfast bar would have been great with a couple of stools to sit at and the TV was a tad small for the size of the lounge. It may have been better for the dining room table to be just inside the lounge door rather than the other end of the lounge. As i say all small niggles as the place is beautiful. Kitchen and en-suite are gorgeous. Although it stated in the listing there was a welcome pack this was not available when we arrived. The area was lovely and quiet, the West Norfolk pub did the perfect Sunday Roast. All in all, a relaxing stay and the hot tub was a bonus! Thankyou

Lovely bungalow, very clean and spacious. Well equipped kitchen. Everything we wanted to see was within an hours drive, and the local pub the Rose and Crown in Snettisham (five minutes by car). The only complaint would be that the pillows are very firm. Subjective I know, but very uncomfortable for us.
