A fabulous contemporary cedar lodge in the rural village of Ingoldisthorpe, with panoramic countryside and coastal views, Ingol Lodge is ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful escape. Over the winter months wonder at the sight and haunting sound of skeins of pink footed geese as they fly overhead and watch spellbinding seabird murmurations - all from the comfort of this superb lodge.
Constructed in 2020 and being one of three Brickley Wood Lodges (neighbouring Avocet Lodge and Ingol Lodge) set high on the hill above the small village of Ingoldisthorpe. With beautiful boutique-style interiors and high end fixtures and fittings, you really will want for nothing - every little detail has been thought of to ensure you have the finest holiday. Just shake off your shoes, and slip into the slippers and dressing gowns provided, turn on the coffee machine, take a seat, relax and unwind in peaceful surroundings and simply take in the landscape above and below. The spacious light-filled, open-plan living area at the front of the lodge has a smart fitted kitchen at the back of the room that overlooks the dining and sitting areas where there's a widescreen television to entertain, should you ever tire of the endless view. From here double french doors lead out to an outdoor deck - this part of the North Norfolk coast unusually faces West and is the ideal place to watch as the sun sets on the Wash in its glorious technicolour. At the rear of the lodge are two supremely comfortable bedrooms, both with super-king size beds; one of which can be offered as full-size twin beds if preferred, and two bathrooms, one being en-suite to the master bedroom. An app operated electric charging point is available on site, which is a shared facility with the neighbouring lodge.
Ingoldisthorpe is a charming little village, just inland from the coast, and is perfect for immersing yourself in nature, birdwatching or biking along the national cycle route. Some of Norfolk's finest beaches, country houses, rural and coastal walks, and fine dining are all on the doorstep.
This property can also be booked as a sleeps two option, listed as Ingol Lodge (2), and could make a good choice for booking with neighbouring Avocet Lodge which sleeps two.

Lovely lodge. Clean, comfortable and very well thought out. Wildlife from the deck. Best meal was at Coach and Horses Dersingham, fairly new people. Rose & Crown not that good but perhaps it was just a busy Sunday. Artisan bakery/cafe Snettisham good. Thank you.

We had a wonderful holiday in Ingol Lodge. It was immaculately clean, very comfortable, beautifully decorated and furnished and the view was amazing. We would love to return.

Well, where do you start? Such a lovely lodge. So clean, very well equipped and laid out, gorgeous bathroom! You will be fighting over the binoculars to see all the wildlife and amazing views - however lots of the animals roam right past the lodge. Watch out for the families of quails, deer, hares, red kites, buzzards, pheasants and smaller birds. Amazing coastline. You will not be disappointed with any of the amazing beaches, numerous halls and gardens and towns and villages. Snettisham is a very pretty village also. Keep an eye out for the tawny owl on the telegraph pole. We will definitely be booking again!
