Pretty as a picture, this gorgeous brick and flint Victorian fisherman's cottage just bursts with character, charm and great individuality. A super little spot for a romantic getaway, this lovely cottage will also suit a small family or a couple of friends.

Glenrosa has great style, but in a very relaxed and comfortable way. The artistic owners have applied their creative flair and used a mix of vintage furniture and furnishings to compliment the many interesting and varied artworks dotted throughout the cottage. You will be kept as warm as toast in cooler months with storage heaters and a large log burner, when you might feel very tempted to just stay in and sample one of the many books that line the bookshelves, or sit and watch a DVD. In the summer, you can relax in the secluded, south facing cottage garden after a busy day out and about exploring. In keeping with a period cottage, the bathroom is downstairs, but the stairs are mercifully straight and not too steep. The well-equipped kitchen has plenty of a space for a dining area too, and the attractive sitting room has ample comfortable seating. Upstairs there are two delightful bedrooms; a double and twin. Dogs are welcome at Glenrosa, but asked to respect house rules.

Perfectly located, with easy access to the beach and many great local eating places, you might not want to venture too far afield but, if you do, you can always just catch the Coasthopper bus that regularly runs through the village all year round, and it will take you to all the other wonderful villages along this beautiful coastline. If you love golf, The Royal West Norfolk Golf Course, an outstanding links course, runs parallel to Brancaster bay and the saltmarsh. This is an area popular with walkers, sailors, cyclists, paddle boarders, kayakers, birdwatchers and dog owners! If you like shopping, trendy Burnham Market is just a few minutes drive away and, for beach lovers, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea are not far.
