The works are at the far end of the cottage and not directly next to Mallard Cottage itself.

    Lovely property. Big, old, full of character (low ceilings, ouch!!), well-furnished but retaining a very friendly, homely atmosphere. This year (2nd visit, also came last year) we had pheasants in the garden and a muntjac deer.
