If your journey is taking longer than expected, and you’ll be arriving after 6pm, please call us on 01366 385716 to let us know. We can make alternative arrangements for your key collection. For example, we can leave the keys in the lodge with the lights on ready for you.

Second visit to this site.Lodge (Clavering) was spotlessly clean and had clearly been re-decorated, etc. Beautiful lodge with well equipped kitchen, inc. airfryer, washing machine, dishwasher, and all cooking utensils. Not huge prep area, but there is a big dining table next to the kitchen area, so no issues there. Washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets are supplied, but take your own clothes washing liquid etc.Hairdryer supplied with, for once, somewhere to plug it in right next to a big mirror!View from the lodges, over the par 3 is beautiful and the hot tub is very private.Golf courses are lovely - don’t expect perfect greens, but there is basically no dress code and you can get on easily, so unlimited free golf. It’s great for novices, or to practice your accuracy (lots of ditches). The par 3 course is a really great short game area non-golfing partners can sit on the lodge deck and watch you.Range cards are good value (currently £32 for 500 balls) and there are both indoor and outdoor bays. The indoor bats have mirrors and new mats. The balls are all the same and all look new, so no unexpected squirrely shots. There is also a small putting green which is well kept. Several good value places to eat locally: recommend Titash in Downham Market for indian, The swan at Fincham for thai and good pub food - ideal if not all the party like thai - and Arbuckles does very good american diner style food.
