This newly refurished (in 2018), detached house is ideal for family holidays and groups of friends wishing to explore the north Norfolk coastline. The property is dog friendly with an enclosed garden. Titchwell is nationally known for its rspb nature reserve. The Norfolk Coastal Path passes a quarter of a mile from the house and Brancaster beach is a 20 minute walk, almost entirely off-road. Located between Hunstanton to the west and Burnham Market to the east, there is plenty for the family to see and do with many good pubs and restaurants throughout the area to enjoy, the nearest just 400 yards away. After a busy day exploring this beautiful part of Norfolk return and enjoy the south-facing rear garden in the summer or snuggle up in front of the wood burner on those winter evenings. Beach 1 mile. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 400 yards.

We had never been to Norfolk before and we are so glad that we picked this area and this property. The area is rich in history and wildlife. We took our dog and most places were dog friendly to have coffees or meals out. The house was perfectly located in the village and there were many walks from the front door. It took about 20-25 minutes to get to the beach at a leisurely pace across the marsh. Just lovely at all times of the day.The house itself was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well equipped. The main bathroom was lovely and we enjoyed having a bath again- having swapped ours at home for a massive shower cubicle! We slept in the super long bed which was very comfortable and we slept well all week. The living room was a comfortable place to sit and watch tv in the evening while watching the deer and bats out the back. If we were able to make suggestions to improve the house it would be to maybe think about a welcome booklet with detail of the WiFi password ( we eventually found it on the back of the router), local suggestions and details like bins and nearest doctor, vet etc. it would also be good if the cleaners spruced up the garden furniture. It was unusable really due to the amount of bird droppings on it. A good hard brush every week would keep that at bay. Some cushions for the outside chairs would also be good. There was one steamer chair cushion but it was mouldy. It’s a beautiful garden.Would be come back? Definitely. We loved this village and the surrounding area. Well worth the 10 hour door to door trip!

Was a good base for exploring the North Norfolk Coast and inland area.Garden very dog safe. Good job as our working cocker spaniel would have been after the dear that visited regularly!Access to beach a short walk away.Titchwell Manor couple of minutes up the road by foot.
