Throughout the property, the authentic nature of the building is allowed to shine through, creating a comfortable environment in which to unwind and relax. The traditional country-style kitchen is a wonderful example of this, where guests will find a welcoming room that is well equipped for most catering needs. Amenities include a washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric range oven and hob. Centrally, the dining table easily accommodates six guests and from here you are able to access the rear enclosed courtyard. Nearby, the sitting room has been curated with comfort in mind and provides ample seating around the wood burning stove and the 50" smart television. Guests have a cosy base to return to, having spent the day exploring the Nar Valley, and beyond. The amenities also include a Playstation 3 console with a selection of games.

Heading onto the first floor, two quiet bedrooms await, the master with a 5' king-sized bed and television, the other with 3' twin beds and views over the churchyard. The adjacent family bathroom provides a free-standing bath with shower over and encourages a long soak. The third bedroom is on the second floor and houses 3' twin beds.

Outside, the pretty enclosed courtyard garden provides outdoor seating for both dining and lounging. Guests also have a charcoal barbecue and the area sits adjacent to the kitchen, accessible via the back door. Storage for bikes and private parking for one car is available to the rear of the property, with additional roadside parking available around the village green and on the High Street.

Cockleshells can also be booked as a sleeps 4 option, without the second floor twin bedroom, listed as Cockleshells (4).

Additional Information:

One well behaved dog welcome (small additional charge). Please ensure that dogs are kept on the ground floor.

Pillows and duvets are a mixture of feather and synthetic fibre.

Note; the flight of stairs to the first floor is steep and curves round a corner, but there are ropes to hold onto.
