Located at the heart of the historical village of Castle Acre with walking on the Peddars and Nar Valley Way on the doorstep, you are surrounded by some truly beautiful countryside, the Cluniac Priory ruins and a 12th Century Norman Castle. This warm, inviting cottage has a lovely kitchen/dining room with an inglenook and a living room with woodburner on the ground floor. The two upstairs floors feature 3 bedrooms with lovely views across the village green and church and there is a roll top bath to sink in to at the end of the day's exploring. A warm welcome awaits in this comfortable and cosy cottage, there is a pub a short stroll away and a local village shop to hand.

Thoroughly enjoyed our second Norfolk Cottage Holiday - Our first to this area. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely cottage (and thank you for the welcome milk and biscuits!), we've felt comfortable and at home. We loved the circular walk and would recommend it - we did parts of it on seperate days, sunday and monday, and it was beautiful each time. The views from every window made a lovely change from city life and watching trees become more autumnal with every day has been spectacular. Make sure you visit The Ostrich on burger night - absolutely delicious! Thank you again - the r&r was much needed!

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely walks, delicious fish and chips from the shop in the village and some great visits to Houghton Hall, Sandringham and Oxburgh.
