Welcome to holiday accommodation with a difference, a comfortable log cabin on the north Norfolk coast fitted with all mod cons and within walking distance of Burnham Overy Staithe s pub and creek.

Visitors fortunate enough to stay in the North Norfolk village of Burnham Overy Staithe can expect a traditional holiday experience rarely found these days. As well as an excellent local pub (The Hero) with an exceptional menu Norfolk ale battered haddock and BBQ d Norfolk beetroot salad, for example the village is situated on a fabulous creek. Spending time here is like going back over a century, with colourful sail boats moving sedately across the water, flocks of seabirds flying overhead and a windmill silhouetted on the horizon. It really is a blissful scene. Yet hop in the car and within minutes you can be in lively Wells, breathtaking Holkham or vibrant Hunstanton. Situated in the grounds of Flagstaff House, the former home of Captain Woodget of the Cutty Sark, you enter through the front door of this beautifully constructed cabin into a pleasant lounge equipped with a comfortable sofa and armchairs, and an electric log effect burner. Whitewashed walls and a cosy interior mean you will immediately feel at home in your unique accommodation. Look out of the windows and through the French doors and you are presented with a large lawn with mature trees; just a few steps further away is the tidal creek and its multicoloured sailing boats. Back inside, the kitchen includes a microwave, fridge and ice compartment, while the open plan dining area incorporates a wooden table with seating for six. The twin bedroom (with zip and link beds) incorporates built in wardrobes and hanging space, while the shower room features a large walk in shower with WC. A shared laundry room outside the property includes a washing machine and tumble dryer. Shared with other Flagstaff properties, the large garden is home to picnic tables if you fancy some al fresco dining. There is off street parking for one car.
