A selection of excellent local gastropubs are nearby, including; The Ship, at ten minutes walk away; the much-loved The White Horse, which hosts regular fun events; and the muddy boot welcoming, family friendly The Jolly Sailors, in neighbouring Brancaster Staithe. With a plethora of delicious local produce and freshly caught local fish available from the surrounding villages, rustling up a feast at home is always a great option.

It is the social heart of Brancaster village offering a licenced, family friendly bar with the cheapest drinks along the coast, and a calendar of monthly events including live music, discos, quiz nights, bingo, skittles and poker tournaments. Adjacent is five acres of playing fields, including two full size goals, a children’s playground along with equipment designed to help coordination and balance, and a family area with picnic tables. Lovely quiet location, great layout in house and well equipped kitchen. Nice decor throughout. Would recommend as easy to walk to beach and local pub.

We had a lovely time at Greyseals. The house is in a great location close to the beach, local pub and Norfolk coastal path. We appreciated how clean it was, the beds were comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped. The garden was also spacious and fully enclosed - great for our dog. We highly recommend Greyseals if you are holidaying in Brancaster.

The house is well appointed and clean, and the decor is calming and cosy. We used the boardwalks to walk to the very pretty Brancaster Beach, and also walked to the Jolly Sailors for dinner. The neighbourhood is pretty and quiet. We appreciated how responsive the host was.
