A fabulous single storey barn-style cottage tucked away in a discrete location situated right in the heart of Brancaster, one of North Norfolk's prettiest and most popular coastal villages. Within easy walking distance of the beautiful beach and excellent local pub, Duffields Cottage is the perfect hideaway for couples, friends or a small family to enjoy both a short break, and longer stay, any time of the year.
Newly constructed in 2014, Duffields Cottage was designed to be a high spec holiday property boasting a light and airy Scandinavian vibe throughout. Accessed via the front garden gate, walk into a lovely open-plan living space with a vaulted ceiling and white-washed wooden flooring. A charming wood burning stove adds extra warmth when the days and nights turn chilly, plus a widescreen television with DVD player will keep you entertained. Cooking, dining and relaxing all take place in this very pleasant, easy, sociable environment. To either side of the living area are two bedroom suites, each with a 5' king-size bed and en suite facilities. Both bedrooms feature doors with access to the fully enclosed garden, landscaped by an award winning designer. The pretty garden enjoys a coastal theme and hosts furniture for dining, as well as lounging.
Duffields Cottage is the go-to place for relaxed breaks. For bracing fresh air, a fabulous beaches, wonderful walks, a great choice of delectable eateries, a spot of shopping or even a round of golf, you need look no further.
Brancaster Stores and Post Office houses a brilliant deli and coffee shop, as well as stocking plenty of every day goods. Brancaster Village Hall hosts Bar 71 where good times, drinks, friends and fun are served. It is the social heart of Brancaster village offering a licenced, family friendly bar with the cheapest drinks along the coast, and a calendar of monthly events including live music, discos, quiz nights, bingo, skittles and poker tournaments. Adjacent is 5 acres of playing fields, including two full size goals, a children’s playground along with equipment designed to help coordination and balance, and a family area with picnic tables. There are also new tennis courts. Brancaster offers something for everyone!

A wonderful place to stay a real home from home very comfortable en-suite double bedrooms and a very well appointed kitchen - we cooked Christmas dinner for four! Everything was spotlessly clean really peaceful and a lovely secure courtyard garden great for dogs too. Lovely location the Ship Inn next door is wonderful (no noise) great food and their own gin! Lovely little village store and the best bit you can walk to the beach in 15 minutes what’s not to love.

Our second visit to Victoria’s lovely cottage. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Walkable to a wonderful beach for dog walks and warm and cosy inside. Will definitely return.
