Set within the owner’s land in the sought-after village of Ingoldsthorpe, Bramble Cottage is a detached barn conversion and makes the perfect base from which to explore this lovely part of Norfolk. Boasting open plan living and just 1 mile from the coast, you are sure to fall in love with this pretty little retreat.
There are so many celebrated attractions close by that whether you are a beach lover, a history buff or a wildlife enthusiast you will be sure to find much to see and do. Head to nearby Snettisham Beach, which is one of the quietest in the area or perhaps head to Heacham Beach with its painted beach huts. Just a little further along the coast is the seaside town of Hunstanton with its beach that seems to go on for miles when the tide is out and its famous stripy cliffs. Known as ‘Sunny Hunny’ by the locals, this popular seaside town is also packed with coastal attractions.
Drive east from here and discover a string of pretty coastal villages with a wide range of coastal habitats including picturesque quays and salt marshes. History buffs will find the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn, the Sandringham and Holkham Estates and Peckover House all within easy reach. Just a little further and you can explore the medieval city of Norwich, Blickling Hall and Ely with its magnificent cathedral too.
Bird lovers will find lots of bird watching opportunities in abundance in Norfolk, and not to be missed are rspb Snettisham Marshes, which is just up the road, or Welney Wetlands which also lie within easy reach. Once you have squeezed all that in, you are sure to have worked up an appetite, so you will be pleased to find that this area is packed with great places to eat in whatever your budget or taste buds. This is our second stay at this cottageWe can definitely recommend it’s an ideal base to explore Norfolk attractions,Lovely secure garden ,we took our 2 dogs so it was perfect,Nice local walks ,it was clean comfy can’t fault it,Definitely will be returning,Also a nice gesture milk in the fridge nice bottle of wine and biscuits and dog treats from the owner’s

Bramble Cottage is a lovely place to stay. Clean and with everything needed. The garden is enclosed with no holes that tiny dogs can escape through.I stayed during a heatwave and had taken an electric fan with me. Unfortunately there was no way of opening the Velux windows to let some of the heat out and no blinds on them to prevent the heat coming in. As a result, one of my dogs had two seizures. A pole to open the windows may have prevented this.

Lovely cottage, clean and comfy for my weekend stay. Secure garden with high fences, so safe for dogs .Ideal location for visiting areas around Norfolk, I appreciate I stayed during the heatwave -a parasol for the garden table for shade maybe an idea, also maybe a name plate or something at the top of the driveway to show the location of the cottage, took a few drive pass's to find it, these are very minor details. I would definitely recommend and book the cottage in the future.
