Snaptrip says

Broom Cottage in Norfolk offers a tranquil, picturesque setting ideal for a peaceful retreat. Guests appreciate the quiet location, the secure garden for pets, and the provision of essentials. While some find the cottage charming and well-equipped, others note areas needing improvement, such as cleanliness and maintenance.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Cleanliness has been a recurring concern among guests, with several mentioning the presence of dust, grime, and mould. Despite some improvements, the standard of cleanliness has been inconsistent, impacting the overall experience.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its quietness and peacefulness, with no passing traffic and proximity to local amenities and the North Norfolk coast, making it a desirable base for exploring the area.

Comfort receives mixed reviews; while some guests find the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable, others mention issues with seating, space, and headroom, particularly for taller individuals or larger groups.

Facilities are adequate with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and a secure garden. However, there are negative comments about the maintenance of appliances, garden upkeep, and the need for updates to furniture and amenities.

While some guests mention a welcome pack and appreciate the provision of logs for the burner, there are no consistent references to gifts or thoughtful gestures to accurately assess this category.

TV only switched on on the TV the remote on didn't work, cooker only worked on timer and took a long time to heat up. But we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. Would also recommend so updated information as we loved Fakenham market but stumbled on this and information on parking and beach. If pebble or sand etc we worked it out. But overall fab just nit picking really 1st time away with my dog and great time was had.

The weather wasn't great when we were there and the place was too small to stay inside with 2 small children. In addition there is no head clearance, the entrance through the front door is only suitable for someone 5ft or shorter, the second bedroom should not be a bedroom, but instead a store cupboard - even the children had to stoop. for a small couple this would be fine to book I am sure

Only slight improvement would be comfier sofa, fortunately we had good weather so were out most days. Would not hesitate to rebook this property.
