Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with several guests reporting issues such as dirty crockery, cobwebs, and a lack of deep cleaning, which is particularly concerning during COVID times. However, some guests found the property to be clean and tidy upon arrival.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its tranquility and proximity to local attractions, with many guests enjoying the peaceful setting and the convenience of nearby amenities in the village.

Comfort levels are generally satisfactory, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the garden enjoyable. However, some guests noted the compact space and the awkward access to the bathroom through the main bedroom, which affected their comfort.

Facilities are adequate with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and a secure garden. Maintenance issues such as the need for a better clean, overgrown garden, and dated furnishings were noted, suggesting room for improvement.

There is insufficient information to accurately assess thoughtfulness as it pertains to gifts or special touches provided by the hosts. While a welcome pack is mentioned in some reviews, it is not consistently referenced, and thus a score cannot be given.

Thanks for having the portable air-conditioning on in the bedroom on arrival in high temperature. A large or tall person would have difficulty in the shower.

A quirky little cottage which served our needs for a short break. We had everything that we needed. Only a couple of head bumps from low door frames! Lots of wild life to watch from kitchen window. The local pub was very handy for eating out and dog friendly.
