Sadly it is a little tired and could do with a few new cushions on the sofa, also new pillows and duvets on the bed as they were stained and all broken up. There were stains on the carpet and sofa which is a shame. The property is secured for dogs and I understand not all guests keep their dogs clean and respect properties, we did take our little dogs bed which is where she slept all week and we respected the signs of no dogs upstairs. We did have to clean on arrival as there were black hairs in the lounge on the floor and sofa, cobwebs on lamps and lights. Dust on the bannisters on the stairs. The crockery and cutlery were sticky so again we hand washed 2 of everything so we had clean items for use during our stay. It was a real shame we spent the first night cleaning to feel relaxed. The garden is enclosed and lovely for dogs to enjoy with plenty of walkable places nearby. The driveway is private and secure and gates to the back garden again makes you feel safe with pets. The property could be a real gem if a few issues are solved.

It was our second time for staying at Dale End and will probably stay there again.

Both showers not working properly. Door step to kitchen a trip hazard. Whole down stairs filthy and felt unable to eat in the property. Cupboards full of partly used bottles ecg. Not able to plug hairdryer in and sit at dressing table. No blinds down stairs so lack of privacy. Never heard such noisy heating before. Outside area totally unkempt. Appears as if acquired from a death and let as is. I gave one star for good area but will not go again or recommend.
