About this property

Welcome to Sam’s Snug, named after local legend, Sam Larner, a revered herring fisherman and folk singer. This charming blue-plaque adorned cottage is a modern haven that encompasses two bedrooms, kitchen, open plan living space and a delightful garden, offering a serene retreat with a touch of bygone charisma.

Driveway parking on site for 2 – 3 cars.

Sam’s Snug has been thoughtfully renovated into a contemporary two-bedroom cottage, boasting an enchanting garden. As you enter, the expansive entrance porch beckons, providing ample space for coats and footwear. To the right, the well-appointed kitchen awaits, equipped with essential appliances including an oven, electric hob, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine.

Towards the rear of the cottage, a modern bathroom invites relaxation with its bath and overhead shower, complemented by a washbasin and WC. The double-aspect living room features a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings, inviting seating, and a dining table accommodating four.

Ascend the open riser stairs to reach the first-floor landing. Upstairs, the primary bedroom boasts a king-size bed, accompanied by an ensuite WC and washbasin for added convenience. The second bedroom offers twin 3’ single beds and a tranquil view of the back garden.

Outside, the property boasts ample off-road parking for 2 – 3 vehicles, while the enclosed back garden provides both privacy and captivating vistas of the neighbouring church. Complementing your stay, free unlimited Wi-Fi keeps you connected, and the cottage warmly welcomes two well behaved dogs.

With the beach merely a five-minute stroll away, and a plethora of local walks spanning the Norfolk countryside in close proximity, Sam’s Snug stands as a haven of relaxation, history, and scenic exploration.

Lovely place to unwind and get away from the world. The beach is walkable, and is amazing, the local pub is a treat as well. Recommend the tea-room too. If you have a dog it's a great place to go walking.
