Snaptrip says

The Cool Cat in Great Yarmouth is a well-received lodge, praised for its spaciousness, modern amenities, and beautiful setting. Guests enjoy the peaceful surroundings, the hot tub, and the property's cleanliness. The lodge's location is ideal for exploring Norfolk and offers stunning views. While some minor maintenance issues and comfort preferences are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found The Cool Cat to be very clean upon arrival, with only a few mentioning minor issues such as cobwebs and dirty crockery. The high standard of cleanliness contributes positively to the overall experience.

The lodge's location is frequently highlighted as tranquil and beautiful, with lovely views and proximity to local attractions. The peaceful setting and the convenience of nearby amenities contribute to a high rating for location.

Comfort levels are generally high, with guests appreciating the spacious rooms and luxury touches like underfloor heating. However, some guests mentioned the beds being too soft or hard and issues with noise, which slightly lowers the comfort score.

Facilities are well-regarded, especially the hot tub and modern kitchen. However, several reviews mention maintenance issues such as broken appliances and minor niggles with facilities, indicating room for improvement in this area.

While some guests appreciated the provision of basics and the hot tub maintenance, there is insufficient information to assess the consistency of thoughtful gestures such as welcome gifts. Therefore, a score cannot be provided for thoughtfulness.

Everything you could need. Very quiet and kids used to pool on-site.

Our party of 6 adults had a 3 night weekend break and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are comfortable and furnished to a high standard. Super modern kitchen and lovely open plan sitting room. Enjoyed Sunday Lunch at the on site restaurant and a 6 mile walk thru the woods direct from our accommodation. Owner helpful and quick to respond to a minor issue.

It was very comfortable ,cosy, clean and very well equipped with more than ample storage places. The setting was intriguing especially around the pond which we overlooked. There always something going on even including the golfers gave us some amusement. The weather could have been a little kinder. We did get out and about though ,we walked through the delightful Waveney Forest which is within walking distance. We did try visiting Redwings but it was only open this time of year on the weekends. We visited Great Yarmouth but let’s say we won’t be bothering that town again .But we had a great holiday ,made all better for having a superb base.. Thankyou.
