This enchanting, 17th-century, thatched cottage lies in a traditional Broadland village of Catfield. The middle one of a little row of three, it is very comfortable with an open fire in feature inglenook fireplace, and enjoys its own large rear garden. Perfect for exploring Broadland, with its delightful villages, nature reserves, bird watching, and miles of reed lined waterways – Hickling Broad is just 4 miles away and Horsey Mere is 9 miles. Boats can be hired at Potter Heigham (3 miles) and sailing, fishing and cycle hire are all available locally. Sea Palling, 5 miles, offers lovely sandy beaches. Norwich 18 miles. Shop/PO and pub serving food 100 yards.

It was a lovely cottage but needed a bit of TLC ie the lounge need decorating and kitchen need tidying up

Excellent cottage and garden for pets, lovely village location with shop ***. and Pub, close to other amenities if needed.

Lovely cottage, for us a bigger place would be better as we have 2 large German Shepherd dogs. Only real negative for us was the tiny kitchen.
