Explore the nearby Broads or unwind in the private enclosed lawn garden. Your furry friends are also welcome, making this retreat a home away from home. Embark on a leisurely stroll to the riverbanks of the River Thurne, or Martham village with its pretty village green and duck pond. The village pub and shop are also just a short walk away. For those craving the salt-kissed breeze and the sound of crashing waves, the seaside beckons just a short drive away.

Both beaches boast golden sands and dunes, with Winterton-on-Sea offering designated dog-friendly areas and a 6-mile circular walk along the nature reserve, where you might spot the local seal colony. Great cycling, walking, bird watching, and golf can all be enjoyed. The famous Norfolk Broads, with the village of Potter Heigham and Wroxham to enjoy daily river trips, boat hire, shops, riverside pubs, cafés, and restaurants.
The traditional seaside town of Great Yarmouth provides amusements, a pleasure beach with thrilling rides, a wide sandy beach, waxworks, pitch and putt, and a bustling town centre with shops, markets, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants. There is also the medieval city of Norwich which boasts a stunning Norman castle, museums, cinemas, theatres, excellent shopping, and plenty of dining options. Another great place to visit is the Royal Sandringham Estate and Museum or venture into Suffolk to discover its stunning coastline. Daily fishing can be found along riverside and Martham Fishing Pits (in season with licence).

Wonderful little cottage with great access to walls for our dogs. Beautiful seeing. We had a minor issue with the water pump making noise on occasion, but it wasn't a big deal and we enjoyed our stay.
