Bike store. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Nestled in the serene countryside, this delightful barn offers a wonderful welcome. Explore the nearby Broads or unwind in the private enclosed lawn garden. Your furry friends are also welcome, making this retreat a home away from home. Embark on a leisurely stroll to the riverbanks of the River Thurne, or Martham village with its pretty village green and duck pond. The village pub and shop are also just a short walk away. For those craving the salt-kissed breeze and the sound of crashing waves, the seaside beckons just a short drive away.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm and it even has a washing machine. Both beaches boast golden sands and dunes, with Winterton-on-Sea offering designated dog-friendly areas and a 6-mile circular walk along the nature reserve, where you might spot the local seal colony. Great cycling, walking, bird watching, and golf can all be enjoyed. The famous Norfolk Broads, with the village of Potter Heigham and Wroxham to enjoy daily river trips, boat hire, shops, riverside pubs, cafés, and restaurants.
The traditional seaside town of Great Yarmouth provides amusements, a pleasure beach with thrilling rides, a wide sandy beach, waxworks, pitch and putt, and a bustling town centre with shops, markets, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants. There is also the medieval city of Norwich which boasts a stunning Norman castle, museums, cinemas, theatres, excellent shopping, and plenty of dining options. Another great place to visit is the Royal Sandringham Estate and Museum or venture into Suffolk to discover its stunning coastline. Really lovely place for myself, hubby & our English bulldog to stay.The barn was very well equipped with everything we needed and even had dog bowls, bed, treats etc, although we did bring our own.Sofa and bed very comfortable which is always a godsend!The barn is in a very peaceful location with walks on your doorstep, or the amazing winterton on sea beach which is just a short drive away, where we were lucky to see a few seals!All in all a wonderful stay in lovely accomodation. Thank you John for letting us stay here and for the much appreciated welcome drinks and biscuits đ

Lovely rural environment and secure setting for the family including the dogs.Very pet orientated with extras appreciated. The owners understand how we prioritise our dogs when looking for holiday accomodation.We appreciated the privacy, quiet calm environment with lots of walks from our front door & a great base to explore the coast & broads.
