Seagull House is family-friendly terraced house close to the beach, the New Marina Centre and the Hippodrome Circus in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. With three bedrooms sleeping six guests, the holiday home is ideal for a family looking for easy access to the seaside resort's best attractions. Parking in front of the property is on a first-come, first-served basis on the residential street where guests can unload their belongings and get settled in with ease. A long hallway leads to the light-filled sitting room with a bay window to relax in the afternoons after a fun-filled day by the sea; sink into the sofa and choose your favourite DVD from the collection, or keep the little ones entertained from a choice of games. Prepare evening meals and beach picnics in the stylish, well-appointed kitchen with sleek grey surfaces and essential amenities for your stay, including a washer/dryer and a dishwasher for easy clean-ups! Enjoy family dinners together in the neighbouring dining room with seating for all six guests; during the summer months, open the patio doors and dine alfresco in the enclosed, private, rear courtyard. Head upstairs to wash the sand away in the beach-style bathroom with blue panelled walls, a free-standing bath to sink into the bubbles and a walk-in shower. Although fully renovated, you'll spot lovely character features around Seagull House, including a quaint, stain-glass window at the top of the stairs, feature fireplaces and wooden floors. Choose a book from the shelf to read a story to settle down the young ones in the twin and bunk bedroom, before retreating to the four-poster double bed ready for the next day's adventures. Pack your towels, buckets and spades and find the beach just at the end of the road, along with plenty of shops and eateries to take a break from cooking or stock up the cupboards; Great Yarmouth offers a range of attractions and outdoor sports, including a Venetian Waterway and boating lake. A short walk takes you to the New Marina Centre, which offers a fun pool - swim lane, climbing wall, gym and fitness studio. Also nearby is the world-class Hippodrome Circus with shows all year round. Hemsby, Gorleston-on-Sea and Winterton-on-Sea are all safe, family-friendly beaches to set up camp, paddle along the shore and play games in the sand, but if bad weather hits, there are plenty of indoor attractions to choose from, including the Sea Life Centre, Time and Tide Museum and the National Trust's Elizabethan House on South Quay. If you're planning a day out, take a short drive north along the coast to Winterton-on-Sea, home to a large expanse of soft sand at Winterton Beach and Hirsty's Family Fun Park, whilst Hickling Broad is perfect for wildlife and nature lovers with waterside trails, boat tours and birdwatching. A 30 minute train ride will get you into the city of Norwich. Norwich is a livelier city lying west of Great Yarmouth with lots of history to uncover, including the Norwich Cathedral dating from 1096, the 14th-century Strangers' Hall and the picturesque The Plantation Garden with an Italian terrace and Gothic fountains, plus an abundance of shops and eateries. Norwich is also home to one of the oldest markets in the country with 189 stalls to take advantage of as well as being open Monday to Saturday every week. With The Broad National Park within easy reach, you'll also have a sprawling landscape of wildlife, walking trails and picture-perfect vistas on days when you want to escape the crowds. With so much to see and do, book your exciting seaside escape at Seagull House.
