Located in the county of Norfolk in England is the charming village of Belton. It's a great place to stay for vacationers who want to get out and explore the coast, thanks to its tranquil setting and wide range of convenient services. Located to the east of the River Waveney, this thriving community features a single convenience store, post office, a smaller shop, a ladies' hair salon, and a take out joint. The (Railway) Tavern and the Kings Head, two great local watering holes, can be found on opposite ends of the village. Burgh Castle, a nearby village, and Gorleston-on-Sea, a coastal town with a golf course and an impressive lighthouse, are both worth exploring. Great Yarmouth, located along the coast of Norfolk a short distance north of Norfolk Beach, is a popular tourist destination. Soak up the sun for hours on end on the pristine sands of the Golden Mile, then spend the evenings enjoying the many indoor and outdoor entertainment options that line the promenade. Adventure golf, freshly made doughnuts, fish and chips, and ice cream are just some of the tasty treats that can be enjoyed here before riding the coasters or taking in a great show. Visit the Time and Tide Museum of Great Yarmouth Life, Joyland, or the SEA life Centre to learn more about the history of the area. The Boards, a National Park with over 125 miles of navigable lock-free waterway, is also within striking distance of Belton and is a sight to behold. You can look forward to great fishing spots and up-close encounters with wildlife in every direction as you explore the park and take in its clean air, clear water, and expansive vistas. However lodge needed further cleaning as oven was greasy, so were sides and some of the cutlery. The outside area needed brushing and removal of cobwebs so had to do a bit of cleaning. Other than that the lodge was nice but the Wi-Fi was very poor. Facilities were limited and could not hire golf equipment to use main golf course. Could only do disc golf. Could do with an on-site shop/ small grocery store
