Here, you are tucked away within the grounds of the owner’s home and within easy reach of the wonderful sandy beach at Hemsby. The warmest of welcomes awaits you. The home is decorated and furnished to provide a perfect retreat for relaxation and exploring the delights of Norfolk, with its amazing coastline, pretty villages and towns to explore, and the Norfolk Broads National Park.
The village centre is just a short walk away with village pub serving good food, small supermarket, Chinese takeaway and hairdresser. A stroll leads you down to the sandy beach which offers miles of peaceful walks and bird watching opportunities. The lively traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth is 8 miles away and offers an excellent sandy beach with donkey rides, fun fair, amusements, Sea Life centre, mini golf, theatre, museums, shops and restaurants.
Potter Heigham, gateway to the Norfolk Broads, is 6 miles away and Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 15 miles away and offers daily boat hire and river trips, fishing and sailing. Alternatively spend a day in the fine city of Norwich with its two shopping malls, market square, cathedral, theatre, castle museums, cafés and restaurants. Horsey Mill, a National Trust site, is also nearby and is well worth a visit. Other fantastic days out include, Fritton Lake Country World (14 miles), Horsey Mill (National Trust) and Horsey Beach (4.5 miles). Beach 0.6 miles. Shop 300 yards, pub 350 yards.

Holly Lodge was spotlessly clean, a lovely welcome pack on arrival, and had everything you could need for a really enjoyable holiday. It was so relaxing just to be able to walk straight from the door down onto the beach and along the beautiful sandy coast towards Winterton on Sea or walk the other way to Scratby. The CoOp is just a five minute walk into Hemsby and there is a great Chinese takeaway and 2 village pubs, all within a ten minute walk. Holly Lodge is ideally situated for visiting the amazing gardens at East Ruston, Blickling and Fellbrigg Hall both NT properties are just a short drive, and the 1940s themed tearoom, Poppylands is just a ten minute drive towards Sea Palling which serves homemade food and cakes that are so delicious.Linda is a kind and caring host, and made us feel so welcome, we hope to return to Holly Lodge again soon and can honestly say that it is one of the most lovely holiday cottages that we have ever stayed at.

This bungalow was huge for two people. It is set well back off the road behind a lovely fenced courtyard which gives privacy and is very quiet. Linda the owner was very helpful and friendly. the furniture and fittings were top quality. We would not hesitate to return in the future.

A lovely equipped accommodation with a beautiful garden. A great location to explore the Norfolk Coast, with a short walk to the beach. Linda and Andy are very helpful. A nice place to have a relaxing holiday.
