This delightful chalet rests on the Winterton Valley Estate in the village of Winterton-on-Sea. Offering ground-floor living, Chalet 150 is a great choice for families looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and explore the wonderful Norfolk coastline. Step inside to the welcoming sitting room where you can lounge on the sofa after a day of rambles, flicking on the electric fire as you find something on the TV. Move through to the kitchen, compact in size but offering everything you could need, including an oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a washing machine, so you won’t have to bring all your clothes! A double bedroom with a standard double bed and bunk bedroom awaits your rest, making this is an ideal base for families. There is also a bathroom with bath and shower over, so you can decide how best to start the day. A small patio area provides a lovely spot to enjoy your morning coffee, while the communal lawns are perfect for letting the children run with the pooch. There is also off-road parking for two cars, but within so much in walking distance, you’ll probably rarely use it! Chalet 150 is opposite the cut to the beach access, meaning you can easily enjoy days at the beach, offering a sandy expanse that is much quieter than its neighbour further down the coast in Great Yarmouth. Winterton-on-Sea’s local shop and pub can be found just over a mile away, while there is also a fish and chip shop if you’d prefer some traditional seaside grub. The Winterton Dunes National Nature Reserve is well-worth a visit, offering some of the best sand dunes in Norfolk as well as great bird-watching and wildlife opportunities, including tern and seal colonies in residence. Head to Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens for big cats, crocodiles and much more, while Hirsty’s Family Fun Park and Lost World Adventure Park also promise great days out. Great Yarmouth is eight miles south and provides many popular attractions; ranging from exciting rollercoasters on the beach to the Sea Life Centre and beautiful Venetian Waterways, this bustling resort offers something for everyone. Winterton-on-Sea is a small village situated on Norfolk's coast, on the same sandy stretch as the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth lying around eight miles away. Winterton-on-Sea is a quieter spot to enjoy the coastal delight, with the village home to a shop and a pub, and resting just south of the Martham Broad National Nature Reserve. The delightful, unspoilt beaches boasts fine golden sands and is backed by some of the best sand dunes in Norfolk earning a Site of Special Scientific Interest, National Nature Reserve and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty status.

Can say a big thank you to Jill for making our holiday go perfectly, the chalet is in such a beautiful and well kept area with loads of space for children and dog walkers to enjoy, the beautiful sandy beach is just a 5 minute walk away and we spent many a evening strolling along it, the chalet is compact but was big enough for us, a family of four and with the sofa bed provided more than enough sleeping space, the chalet was spotless and had everything we needed and the new bathroom is beautiful, if you want a peaceful and restful place to stay then look no further than chalet 150 itâs in such a beautiful place, we will be looking at booking again in the future

It is petite but has everything you need, the bathroom has been done to a high standard and the shower is just perfect, although could do with a blind on the window. Would say also that the hot water in the kitchen does get extremely hot so not sure if you want to put a sticker on the wall as a warning. Loved the location, short distance to a lovely quiet beach that does have a little cafe etc at one end which served doggy ice cream which was well received. Would certainly stay again as it was very peaceful with some lovely walks for humans and pooches...... Thank you

The front had a lovely view of the surrounding area and our car parked close by. The rear was a sun trap to enjoy with table, chairs and a substantial parasol.
