A beautiful two-storey cottage, less than 200 metres from a sandy beach, is perfect for a family or couples looking for a relaxing seaside getaway. Gorleston-on-Sea is a charming, and quiet, small coastal town with a stunning bay, plenty of eateries, traditional amusements and a theatre offering productions all-year-round. Stroll along the promenade and take in the spectacular seaside views. Great Yarmouth, a must-visit, is 3 miles away, boasting a gorgeous sandy beach, Sealife World and the Marina Centre.
This delightful property offers a warm welcome from the moment you step through the porch leading into the downstairs living areas. The interior has a nautical theme and decor in relaxing hues that reflect the coastal location. The charming lounge is the heart of the home. Where you can relax together on the comfortable sofas, watch a movie on the Smart TV, and fire up the wood burner on cooler nights for a cosy ambience. When it’s time to eat, you’ll find the kitchen has all the appliances you need to rustle up some family favourites. Enjoy dining at the table while you relive your day of adventures. Upstairs is a lovely king-size bedroom and a delightful bunk bedroom ideal for children. A contemporary family bathroom with a large walk-in shower completes this wonderful coastal retreat. Outside you’ll find an enclosed courtyard area with patio furniture, making this the perfect spot for enjoying warm evenings dining alfresco. There is on-street parking, subject to availability.
Away from the coast, there are attractions for all ages. The historic cathedral city of Norwich (20 miles) is a bundle of attractions: visit Norwich Cathedral, explore the city castle or go shopping. The famous Broads are a short drive away, with Carlton and Oulton Marshes providing opportunities for walking and watching wild- and birdlife. The ancient market towns of Bungay (19 miles) and Beccles (13.5 miles) are worth a visit, both provide plenty of opportunities for walks and eateries serving local specialities.
