Fairway Lakes Lodges are surrounded by the Hall’s two golf courses providing enviable views over the manicured fairways and affording the peace and quiet you will fall in love with as you unwind in the sauna before immersing yourself in the bubbling hot tub to stargaze the evening away.
If you do choose to leave the luxury of the lodge, there is the option to use facilities outside of Fairway Lakes Lodges. At Caldecott hall has two 18 hole golf courses*, fitness suite*, spa* and indoor pool, Please note they have set times for children to use the pool accompanied by an adult – Friday 4pm – 7pm Saturday and Sunday 9am -12pm (Subject to availability, the pool, spa and gym are privately owned so the park are not responsible for changes in times etc) * or why not venture further afield to discover Suffolk’s charming villages, golden beaches, the Norfolk Broads or the thriving city of Norwich. *Charges apply. Lovely location and a very nice lodge at first glance. The kitchen was great and the hot tub and sauna are excellent additions.Unfortunately the comfort of the lodge was disappointing. The super king bed is very uncomfortable, dips to one side and makes a noise anytime anyone moves. Needless to say both my husband and I did not sleep well at all. The other beds seemed comfortable and were occupied by our children. The larger of the sofas is also in need of replacement. The top layer is peeling off and it is not at all comfortable. The bathrooms are in need of a good clean, particularly the shower hoses as they are very grimey and also the en suite shower plug needs attention as it is disgusting and not been cleaned for a long period of time. It is clogged up with a multitude of things that go down a plug hole! I would also suggest that whoever is cleaning the lodge needs to look up and hoover away the cobwebs.We could also not control the temperature. It was so hot in every room despite using the thermostatic controls in each room to try and keep it at 18 degrees. We had a lovely stay but I have to say that for the money it cost, I would expect the comfort level to be much higher and the bathrooms to be cleaner.

Lovely lodge and location. Had a very relaxing weekend. Hot tub and sauna were a bit hit!!The sofas were a little shabby but with covered with the throws were fine. Kitchen hand wash pump just had brown rusty liquid in it. Other than these minor things the rest of the lodge great. Beds comfy and clean. Would definitely recommend the lodge and location and hopefully we will be back for a return visit
