The accommodation sounded ideal for our requirements, 4 adults and a young child in 3 bedrooms. However there were a number of things that lessened our enjoyment. Maintenance – The maintenance of the property left a lot to be desired. Virtually all the doors creaked when opened or closed and the lavatory seat in the en suite was very loose, resulting in the lid actually falling off during the night. Comfort – 2 of the beds were uncomfortable, particularly the bed in the second bedroom which had 2 very worn out mattresses, one on top of the other. We did not discover this until we stripped the beds at the end of the stay.. The vacuum cleaner was poor. The kitchen cupboards were full of appliance accessories leaving no room for food storage. Finally there was no facility for separating out the recycling apart from the bin outside the gate. There was no information pack so we needed to search the internet for information on the use of the appliances and when bin day was.
