Located quietly and tucked away in the village of Burgh-next-Aylsham, it is only twelve miles from the stunning beaches of Overstrand, Cromer and Sheringham and a few minutes walk through the village to the River Burgh for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding and numerous beautiful country walks.

Owned by a local artist who makes fabric animal sculptures, appliqué cushions and pictures, many of which are displayed around the house, this is no ordinary bolthole. Space and style is in abundance with two sitting rooms, a play room, open-plan kitchen-diner and four large and stylishly decorated bedrooms. It is the perfect pad for groups of friends and families any time of year and you'll be sure to want to return to time and time again.

You have the best of both worlds at Wood End Cottage: situated in a lovely village location with beautiful countryside on your door step, you are only a few minutes' drive away from Aylsham, a traditional unspoilt market town with independent shops, cafes and pubs, close to one of the National Trust’s jewels in Blickling Hall, a magnificent Jacobean house with stunning gardens, you are just a hop in the car to numerous sandy, Blue Flag beaches and only eleven miles from Wroxham, a gateway to the Norfolk Broads. You really are spoilt for choice and Wood End Cottage offers a great place to start your exploration of Norfolk.
