This wonderfully hidden Giraffe Enclosure safari tent is the perfect glamping getaway for a family, set in a dell under a canopy of beech trees in an historical wood in rural Norfolk.
The tent comfortably sleeps up to six people, with two king-sized beds (one in a cabin) and a set of twin beds. There is a beautiful hand-painted roll top bath in the bathroom, making winding down after a day of exploring that much easier. The sitting room is ideal for relaxing, whether it be by the wood burning stove or watching a film on the television. If it is alfresco dining on the deck or having a warming meal inside, the well- equipped kitchen is a great place to cook up a storm. Outside the tent is a firepit, with plenty of seating surrounding it - what better place to discuss the day's activities, or roast marshmallows under the stars.
The wood where the tent is nestled has a history of its own - King Edward viii wood was planted on top of the old foundations of the Hall, following its demolition over a family dispute. The dell was excavated in order to find the flint which made up the foundations of the old Hall as well as the walls in the Walled Garden.
The Giraffe Enclosure has the added benefit of a choice of two outdoor spa areas on the grounds. The Lotus Spa and The Lilly Pad Spa. Please see below for further information.

The property, hot tub and secluded location were amazing, kids (and adults) had a lot of fun. Managers were friendly and helpful. Even though it rained most of our stay, the place remained warm and comfortable. The owners had put a lot of thought into the appliances and utensils for a truly glamping experience.

Lovely place to stay, clean not to far from everything but far enough to relax and unwind, would definitely recommend the retreat we had afternoon tea amazing, thank you.

We loved it. Our 5yr old Grandson had a wonderful time building Dens, foraging etc. it really gave vent to his vivid imagination. We adults on the other hand, were really able to unwind. So peaceful and relaxing. Apart from the early morning chatter from the local pidgeons of course (Can’t really complain, after all, it is their home) The local village has a wonderful old pub with a warm friendly atmosphere and good food. Definitely proposing another visit.
