Set amidst 22 acres of fabulous, landscaped grounds, this property is an absolute gem of a place for a large group of family or friends to get away from it all and reconnect with nature. The property itself is one of a range of accommodations located in a lovely river valley and part of a holistic and eco-friendly retreat run on 90% renewables. The site itself offers a wealth of relaxing activities including wild swimming, woodland walks, and riverside strolls – there’s even a café on the site. In fact, you’ll be so spoiled for choice, that you’ll probably find it difficult to tear yourself away. Surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk countryside, the village of West Lexham provides the ultimate rural getaway, but if you do fancy venturing further afield, then the royal family’s countryside estate of Sandringham is 15 miles away or you can visit the beautiful coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea (20 miles).
Upon arrival at this luxury property, you will feel an absolute sense of being a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, The property comprises the Hall and the Arch which sleep six and ten guests respectively. The property is all over one level and each room in the property is inspired by nature and contains unique furnishings making this a wonderful place to relax. There are three lovely super-king-size bedrooms, all of which can also be made up as twins, and each with its own en-suite shower room. These lead through to the appropriately named ‘Village Hall’ which is a vast social space with room for everyone to gather around the large dining table for meals or cosy up on the sofas in front of the wood burner. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you could need to prepare meals. The remaining four rooms in the ‘Arch’ section of the cottage are all super-king bedrooms with one housing two super-king-size beds providing a luxe room for four guests. Two of these rooms have en-suite facilities whilst the remaining two share a shower room. All beds are zip-and-links that can be made up as twin beds on request.
The outside space at this property is simply phenomenal. There is also a wealth of surrounding woodland that you are free to explore which provides a wonderful habitat for wildlife and all 122 species of trees and shrubs indigenous to the UK can be found on the estate. The shared lawn is a great space for a picnic and some fun and games, whilst the tranquil Sanctuary Garden is a restful space for quiet thought. If that wasn’t enough, there is also an outdoor pool that is available during the summer months and by night, you can toast marshmallows by the fire pits.
