Nestled in the countryside yet close to Thetford Forest, 30 minutes from Norwich with its shops, cobbled streets and lanes and Cathedral and just a 45 minute drive from the unspoilt coastline, this place is a fabulous find. This is a getaway where you'll be surrounded by nature - an idyllic retreat where your worries will slide away as you approach the cottage and walk through the door.

Calming, sumptuous interiors await you at Stable Cottage; the lovely living area is a light, airy space open to the vaulted and beamed roof above; just made for relaxing in. This pretty and calm sitting room comes complete with log burner, feature fireplace, snuggly sofas perfect for cuddling up on, whilst the widescreen television is on hand for those all-important nights when you want to catch up with your favourite box sets.

The bespoke hand-built painted kitchen is super-stylish and home-from-home, chock-full of everything you would need to create a feast and there is a dining table for a romantic dinner or a lazy Sunday breakfast

Sleeping will come easy to you in both of the pretty and tranquil double bedrooms with sumptuous linens and soft pillows which both offer lovely countryside views - perfect for lazy lie-ins where you can sit and watch the horses and wildlife.

The shower room has a large walk-in monsoon shower - perfect for those wake-me-up mornings or for warming yourself up after a day on the bach or a long countryside walk.

Outside you'll find your very own jacuzzi hot tub in a timber-built building only a few yards from the cottage, where you can enjoy long evenings relaxing with a glass of fizz. There fenced and private lawned garden is also perfect for a spot of al fresco dining and great for dogs too.

The cottage is one of a number of buildings on the owners farm. If you're feeling adventurous, follow the paths and quiet lanes that lead from the cottage and head out for a day of exploration. Or hop in the car and spend a day in Norwich or on one of the many sandy beaches that distinguish the east and north Norfolk coasts.

Or if you're more of a home bird, indulge yourself next door in the neighbouring beauty salon, set within the owners grounds where you can pamper yourself.

Stable Cottage hasWiFi throughout, so if you need to stay in contact with the outside world you can. Babes in arms are welcome at Stable Cottage, although no travel cot is provided. Two well-behaved dogs are very welcome. There is plenty of off road private parking.
