Had a lovely week with our GSD Dexter and found the Old Rectory Lodge a wonderfully peaceful place for our stay. Really well appointed holiday let with everything you need including towels, covers, bowls and a bed for dogs. If I had anything else to suggest as a useful extra it would be a tea cosy and an apron for those messy splatters when doing a fry up! The gentle sound of the fountain in the garden was very relaxing and the addition of a Bluetooth speaker was a great addition. Sadly the sun didn’t appear enough for us to make use of the summerhouse but we really enjoyed our week in this old and very stylish property.

This has to be one of the best cottages that we have stayed in. It is nicely furnished with all the little touches that make it a real home from home. The kitchen/dining equipment was comprehensive, the bed really comfy and the shower easy to use. All in all brilliant.
