Guests say

Mead Three is a well-received lodge in Dereham, praised for its high-quality accommodation, cleanliness, and welcoming touches. Guests enjoy the private hot tub, well-equipped lodges with comfortable beds, and the convenience of an on-site shop. The quiet, peaceful location and friendly staff add to the positive experience, although some minor maintenance issues and outdoor furnishing gaps are noted.

The lodge consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'spotless' and 'immaculate'. The attention to cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.

The location is generally appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local attractions and Dereham. Some guests mention occasional road noise, but the positive comments about the surrounding area and easy access to Norwich suggest a favourable location.

Guests find the lodges comfortable, particularly noting the quality of the beds. However, some guests mention issues with cold floors and the desire for outdoor furniture, which suggests room for improvement in overall comfort.

The facilities, including the hot tub and on-site shop, are well-regarded. Nonetheless, guests have pointed out some maintenance issues like electric tripping and the lack of outdoor seating, which affects the score in this category.

Many reviews mention thoughtful touches such as welcome packs and gifts, which guests find delightful. However, it should be noted that these gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed with every stay.

A beautiful relaxing place to stay. Well equipped lodges with big beautiful beds , full sized wardrobes and drawers to put away your clothes for that suitcase free zone and a TV for that extra hour lie in to snuggle under the duvet or just listen to the quiet. The staff were knowledgeable about the area and suggested some fabulous places to eat or a takeaway if you didn't fancy cooking in a well equipped kitchen that included a washer and a dishwasher. The shop was well stocked for snacks and drinks and those little forgotten essentials. A fabulous place to stay with guaranteed quiet and a super clean comfy lodge and lots to do in the local area or a day out in the city of Norwich.

A few little extra would have made this the perfect retreat. At first glance the lodge is ideally located (Lilac). Exterior: No out door furniture, no seating either on the decking or around the hot tub so if you want to sit out side then you will be disappointed. There are no mains lights around the hot tub just fairy lights which are on a timer. ( which we were unaware of). The lodge was warm upon arrival but felt cold most of the time and we were unable to adjust the thermostat. Nice touches like tea, coffee, milk, sugar and a toilet roll in each bathroom. It could do with a rug in the main living area as the floors were cold. A well stocked shop and staff were very friendly. It has potential, especially as it is located in a very beautiful part of Dereham.
