The barns lie equidistant from the three highlights of Norfolk, namely the medieval city of Norwich, the Norfolk Broads and the beautiful North Norfolk coastline, You can be in the heart of any of these in just under 30 minutes. Visit Wells-next-the-Sea, with its picturesque quay, and head east or west from here to visit a string of pretty coastal villages and towns, with a variety of habitats including marshes, quays and wide sandy beaches. Go east for a spot of crabbing at Blakeney or a visit to Cromer Pier, or west for bracing Brancaster Beach or all the fun of the fair at Hunstanton. Head to Wroxham, the gateway to the Broads, where you can hire a day boat or join a tour and drift along these famous waterways. Or visit Norwich with its impressive Norman castle, an impressive cathedral, numerous museums, galleries and theatres along with a host of shopping opportunities, including two lovely shopping malls, an award winning daily open-air market and the artisan Lanes. Plenty of room for 8 of us to spread out, en-suite in bedroom on mezine floorwould be better all enclosed. Perfect location for visiting attractions that appealed to smallchildren.

What an absolute treasure of a find! High House Barn is both in the middle of nowhere yet perfectly central to visit everywhere. Perfect for walking our dog each day without hardly seeing a vehicle, and a short drive out each day got us to lovely Norfolk venues such as Wells, Wroxham & Norwich. The actual Barn is Sooooo spacious, there were seven of us (plus our dog) and we didn't feel on top of each other at any point. The hosts Ian & Donna were attentive without encroaching on our privacy, they have it down to a fine art... The hot tub was a lovely evening pastime after a tough day mooching about, and Ian kept it all ready for the next session. The Barn is immaculate, and the kitchen well equipped enough for us to cook a full roast. Absolutely loved our stay, and we will return!

A super week away at High House Barns with the family. The accommodation is really spacious and comfortable. The garden with the climbing frame was great for the kids. Donna and Ian were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend đ
