Wonderful, kids loved the swimming pool so much and the playground. As mentioned below there is no hairdryer and not much in the house, so make sure you pack everything i.e tea bags, salt, etc the things that usually come with these places.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at dairy cottage. I am blown away at the value for money. The cottage is clean and warm and more than suitable for two adults, a two year old and a dog. I was surprised how much space there was, the kitchen area is huge and well equipped. We came armed with milk and brewing gear. A proper under counter fridge and freezer, not one of those with just a single freezer drawer - that was greatly appreciated! The only thing that was a slight annoyance was the velux windows with a 2 year old! The blinds on there keep the glare out, but they are not blackout. If I had been more bothered about the earlier starts, I’d maybe have black bin bagged them - just something for people with young ones to maybe consider if they’d rather a lie in. But when there’s a beautifully kept play area with trampoline and and a gorgeous heated pool to be excited about (the donkeys and goats came to nosey through the windows when we were swimming!!) there’s too much to be excited about to sleep anyway.. so good luck 😂. The shower was excellent and the bath was great too. No water pressure issues. The toilet, shower and changing rooms in the pool area are pristine. And it really is a warm pool for those with little ones worried about temp - it is all 1.5m though - no shallow end, so bring arm bands for non swimmers. The staff are lovely, the grounds are immaculate. The animals on the farm are an absolute bonus. We will definitely return.
