This comfortable detached lodge has fantastic views of the Mid Norfolk Railway Line which runs along the back of our park and can be viewed from the seating area at the back of the lodge. All accommodation is fitted with a key safe code which will be issued prior to your holiday.

All lodges have 3 or 4 steps up to the veranda.

Pets must be kept on a lead whilst walking around the park.

Hot tubs will not be available for bookings arriving between 20th-26th December 2021, due to water testing required, and limited staff availability during this period, 25% discount is in place as compensation for this.

Please email info@yaxhamwaters.co.uk with the vehicle registration numbers in your party, there is a security barrier and the details will be needed for automatic entry to the park.

We have 3 lakes at Yaxham Waters Holiday Park: Lakeside Lake, Priors Field Lake, and Meadow Field Lake. All lakes contain the following coarse freshwater fish: Carp, Rudd, Tench, and Golden Tench. Our nearest tackle shop is Myhills (2 miles away) in Dereham (www.myhillspetandgarden.co.uk).

Where to Fish: - Lakeside Lake – you can fish from the far-side of the lake or from the island. - Priors Field Lake – you can fish anywhere around this lake. - Meadow Field Lake – you can fish along the edge opposite the lodges. If you are staying in a lodge directly on the water's edge (LS1-LS7B, MF6-MF9) you may fish in front of the lodge which you are occupying as well as the locations listed above.

Fishing Licences: Fishing is free of charge to anyone staying on our holiday park; however, fishing licences must be purchased before commencing fishing. - Children under the age of 13 do not need a fishing licence. - Children aged 13 to 16 require a free junior fishing licence. - Anyone aged 17+ must purchase the correct fishing licence. Fishing licences can be obtained from https://get-fishing-licence.service.gov.uk/buy/licence-for

The Environment Agency perform random checks for fishing licences. You can get a fine of up to £2,500 (and your fishing equipment can be seized) if you are fishing and cannot show a valid rod fishing licence when asked.

Our Park Rules: - A maximum of 2 fishing rods per person. - Fishing rods are not to be left unattended: you must remain within 3 meters of the butt of your rod. - Fishing alarms/buzzers are not permitted. - Children under 17 must always be accompanied by an adult. - Only barbless hooks are allowed. - Landing nets and unhooking mats must be used. - When weighing fish, use a weigh sling or landing net. - Keep nets are NOT to be used. - All fish must be returned to the lake. - Fishing hours are between 6am and 11pm. - Other guests should not be disturbed by lights or equipment. - All rubbish must be put in the bins provided around the park. - The correct size hook should be used for the size fish you are catching.

Safety and First Aid: Lifebuoys are situated around the lakes and First Aid kits can be found in the SOS cabinets around the park. Please familiarise yourself with their locations prior to fishing.

The safety and wellbeing of our fish is of paramount importance to us. We reserve the right to ask anyone we deem to not be following our rules or mistreating our fish to cease fishing with immediate effect. Yaxham Waters Holiday Park reserves the right to close fishing lakes at any time. Everyone fishing accepts full responsibility for knowing and understanding the above before commencing fishing.
