Head to the stunning coastline and take a stroll on Cromer Pier, undertake a spot of crabbing on Blakeney Quay or visit picturesque Wells-next-the-Sea with its famous painted beach huts and wide sandy beach. Or head to the gateway to the Norfolk broads, Wroxham and join a tour or hire you own day launch so you can drift along these famous waterways, taking in the serenity and wealth of wildlife.
For a change of pace, why not explore the fine city of Norwich with its splendid Norman castle, considered the finest example in the UK. Found the accomodation very charming, all the furnishings were really comfortable and we found we had plenty of privacy. It’s in a small village so not much there except a small supermarkets but there is a garden centre and a lovely cafe both within walking distance and plenty of places a short drive away.The only criticism I’d have it that the bedroom is located next to the road and opposite the church so there is noise from traffic and bells through your the night , but nothing some ear plugs couldn’t solve

Nothing was too much trouble, and their warmth and attention to detail made our stay extra special.The retreat itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly kept — the ideal place to relax and unwind.
