Hutton Roof Crags Nature Reserve is also within easy driving distance and offers one of the most impressive areas of limestone habitat in Britain, as well as being home to a wide variety of butterflies, birds and plant life. Visitors can enjoy a trip to the ancient market town of Kirkby Lonsdale which boasts attractive 17th and 18th Century architecture as well as the famous Devil's Bridge.
