This delightful end-terraced cottage can be found just a few minutes’ stroll from the centre of the leafy seaside town of Lytham, and its iconic windmill on the green. Spacious and comfortable, it benefits from an enclosed sitting-out space to the rear. There are numerous bars, cafes, shops and restaurants all within easy walking distance, making it an ideal base for families and couples alike.
Nestled along a picturesque stretch of the Fylde Coast, Lytham Green is just a 5-minute walk and runs along the full length of the waterfront providing a perfect open space for picnics and outdoor games. It also plays host to high profile events such as Lytham Proms and Lytham Festival, and offers superb views over as far as north Wales on a clear day.
The neighbouring seaside town of St Annes is just a 10-minute drive away, and is home to beach huts that come with a fridge, kettle and heating making them perfect for a day’s rental no matter what the weather. You’ll also see the laughing statue of former resident Les Dawson taking pride of place in the ornamental gardens next to the Victorian pier.
Venture a little further down the coast and you’ll reach the bright lights, glitz and glamour of Blackpool, famed for its Pleasure Beach, tower, zoo and Illuminations. For those who prefer to keep it more low key, Lytham is internationally famous for its golf and Lancashire’s beautiful Ribble Valley, Forest of Bowland (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), the Yorkshire Dales and even the Lake District can all be reached in just under an hour. Beach ½ mile. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant 700 yards.
