Silver Birches is a well presented modern bungalow just a short stroll from the centre of Windermere. Property features include; three smart bedrooms, a lovely garden with a summer house and a hot tub - it sleeps up to six guests and so makes for a great choice for a small group of friends, a family or a combination of both.
Set over the ground floor, Silver Birches the accommodation includes a large lounge / dining area and a smart kitchen. When it comes to bedrooms, there are three, one with a luxury en suite, there’s also a shower room and a family bathroom. The largest bedroom, The Garden Room, can be used as a super king or twin bedded room giving Silver Birches greater flexibility. Perfectly located on the outskirts of Windermere Village and so close to shops, some great bars and restaurants - just a few minutes walk from the property. Easy access to central Lake District makes it the ideal base for walking adventures, as well as mountain biking, climbing, sailing or canoeing and an array of cultural attractions.
The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Everything needed for a relaxing stay was provided. The property is located in a lovely quiet area but also close to the centre. The property is central to many walks in the area.

The cottage was beautifully furnished and very warm and cosy. Bedrooms were spacious with big comfortable beds and loads of storage space. Kitchen was very well equipped with every gadget you could need. Hot tub was perfect after a days walking. Location of the cottage is ideal as it is a lovely quiet area but you are in the centre of Windermere in well under 10 minutes. Thank you for the welcome gift of prossecco it was much appreciated. We will definitely return.

Hot tub a definite bonus - on arrival property was extremely clean with everything you may need at your fingertips. Lovely large bedrooms ideal for 2 families. Would highly recommend booking your stay here. We will certainly return.
