Fantastic bungalow. 4 large bedrooms, all with double/super king-size beds which were super comfy! The main bedroom is at the front of the house and you can hear the cars driving past, but can not hear anything else. The other there 3 bedrooms are at the back of the bungalow and are very quiet and relaxing. Living room is lovely 3, two seater sofas and a dining table (which we didn't use). However there is a 6 person dining table and chairs in the large kitchen which we used every night. Kitchen is probably one of the most well equip'd kitchens I've ever had in a holiday home. They had EVERYTHING!The kitchen also had a porch/leantoo attached which was perfect for coming back from walks with the dog. So meant we could hang coats, wet shoes and any doggy stuff. Additionally owner left a doggy basket with bowls, treats towels etc for the dog which was amazing. House is 5 mins walk into Windermere and 15 mins walk or a 5 mins bus into Bowness. Bus stop is 2 mins walk to the left of the house. Perfectly placed for families, walkers and people with dogs, loads of places in Windermere to eat and drink coffee and loads of places take dogs. Would deffo recommend the house to anyone, my mum struggles to walk and she loved it! Additionally 25 mins down the road, driving is Preditor Park. A Walking with Wolves experience I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves dogs or are interested in wolves.

A lovely cottage clean and comfortable. However it does require a bit of TLC. ..the outside appearance lets it down ..garden full of weeds...window frames need replacing .! Little extras like can opener,scissors.,clean washing up bowl, bread knife would be helpful. Don't take lots of food as fridge freezer is very small for a property serving up to 6 persons . We ate out a lot only made 1 cooked meal the evening we arrived. Perfect location for walking into Windermere (5 mins) Bowness around 25 mins . Photos on website need updating as some new furniture been installed. We would use this property again because of its location. We enjoyed our stay...

Location was great walking distance to Windermere and Bowness which had loads of restaurants.Property could do with some TLC for example painted, some furniture in the bedrooms were chipped and back garden needed weeding and some of the garden chairs were rusty. Shower was ok but lacked pressure so better shower would be good to have.Every time you ran the cold water in the kitchen it filled up the washing machine which if you didn’t realise and opened the washing machine door could result in lots of water spilling out onto the kitchen floor.
